It was #brewdaysunday today and Martin has been hard at work on a new recipe that he's calling Vienna Porter due to the amount of delicious Vienna malt that has gone into the grain bill. It's inspired by traditional porter recipes from the 1800s and he's tried to emulate the water profile of one of the great porter cities of the world- Dublin.
We're going for a rich, chocolately, malty finish with a combination of Vienna, Brown, Amber and Chocolate malts in the mix- perfect for mid-winter drinking on chilly evenings.
